You might NEVER noticed William and Kate but the Palace issued a statement before
The One thing you Never noticed about Prince William and Kate Middleton
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are no stranger to making public appearances – but there is this one thing you might not have noticed about the royal couple.

Kate and Wills delighted the nation when they announced their engagement in 2010.
Since marrying a year later, they’ve had two children and a third is on the way.
And the history of Kate’s ring and its links to Queen Elizabeth was revealed earlier this week.
This gorgeous ring is a stunning 12-carat sapphire-and-diamond piece – but if you’ve noticed William bares nothing on his left finger.
The 35-year-old prince doesn’t wear his wedding bang because of “personal preference”, according to Palace officials.

Penny Junor, author of The Duchess: Camilla Parker Bowles and the Love Affair that Rocked the Crown, told Vogue: “He doesn’t like jewellery.
“The Palace issued a statement before their wedding saying so.”
The couple got married at Westminster Abbey in London after they met in 2001 while studying at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
But William not wearing a ring was decided before they tied the knot, a St James’s aide revealed in 2011.

“He doesn’t like jewellery”
Penny JunorThey said: “It was something the couple discussed but Prince William isn’t one for jewellery – he doesn’t even wear signet ring – and decided he didn’t want to.
“It really is just down to personal preference.”
Today, 90% of married Brit men wear wedding rings.

But rings for men didn’t become common in the UK until the WW2 era – when soldiers wanted reminders of their wives back home.
Even Prince Phillip – who has been married to the Queen for nearly 70 years – also doesn’t wear a ring.

This comes after it was revealed that Kate will never wear coloured nail polish or wear fake nails in public as they are deemed “vulgar” and are not apart of the royal etiquette.
