Where are Zara Tindall and Mike spending lockdown with daughters Lena and Mia?

ZARA TINDALL and her husband Mike have two daughters – Lena and Mia. Where is the Tindall family spending lockdown this time round?

Zara Tindall, 39, is the Queen’s eldest granddaughter and Princess Anne’s only daughter. Professional equestrian Zara married former England rugby captain Mike in 2011 and the couple has two daughters – Lena, 2, and Mia, 6.

Where do Zara and Mike live?

Zara and Mike live in Gloucestershire with their daughters.

The Tindalls’ home is a stone’s throw away from Princess Anne’s Gatcombe House.

Zara’s brother Peter Phillips also lives nearby with his two daughters – Savannah and Isla.

Where will Zara and Mike spend the second lockdown?

Zara and Mike are likely to remain in Gloucestershire with their two daughters during the second lockdown.

Zara keeps her horses nearby and will need to continue caring for them and keeping them fit for went professional equestrian events can return.

During the first lockdown, Zara and Mike were faced with homeschooling their daughter Mia.

A task that was at sometimes challenging, according to doting Dad Mike.

Opening up about his homeschooling struggles Mike told the Telegraph: “Zara still has hopes that the horses will get back, they still need training and working on, so I get to be a teacher in the mornings which is sometimes really nice, sometimes really frustrating.”

He added: “I don’t think any child is a great homeschooler because they definitely listen to other people better than they listen to their parents.

“[Mia] can be brilliant one minute and then something you’ve seen her do a thousand times she’ll just go ‘I don’t know how to do that’ and then you go ‘well I know you do’, and she’ll just say ‘no I don’t’ and then you get frustrated, and you’re trying not to get frustrated.”

While non-essential businesses across England have been forced to close under new restrictions, schools will remain open.

Britons have been urged to stay and home and limit travel to a few essential reasons including education and health.

Princess Anne’s Christmas dilemma

The current lockdown is due to end on December 2 but it still seems likely some restrictions may remain in place until the New Year.

One of these regulations could be a cap on more than six people meeting which may dramatically alter many Britons’ Christmas plans.

Princess Anne lives with her husband Timothy Laurence at Gatcombe House and may have liked to have both her children and four grandchildren with her on Christmas Day.

However, if the rule of six remains in place at Christmas then Anne could have to ask Zara, Peter and their families to take it in turns to visit her.

The Queen and Prince Philip could face only being able to host four other family members this Christmas too.
