What will Meghan Markle wear to Princess Eugenie’s wedding? Why the Duchess of Sussex may break Kate Middleton’s strict wedding guest outfit tradition
MEGHAN Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will be among members of the royal family attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding next month.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William will attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on 12 October along with other members of the royal family.
Princess Beatrice’s sister will wed her long-term partner at Windsor Castle, the same location the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed earlier in the year.
And while everyone is wondering what Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress will look like, others are also questioning what look Meghan will opt for on the day.
Kate Middleton is expected to repeat an outfit for the big day, as this is something the Duchess of Cambridge does for a lot of family and friend’s weddings.
People believe it is a way for the focus to not be taken off the bride and the groom on their big day.
But will Meghan Markle follow suit and repeat an outfit? It’s possible Meghan may break Kate’s tradition and wear a new outfit as she attends the wedding.
Not only has Meghan never repeated an outfit since her royal life began, but she’s also shown a habit of not following in Kate’s footsteps in the past.
Earlier this year, Meghan joined her husband Prince Harry for the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks.
For the occasion, Meghan wore an outfit no one had seen her in before.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with this, as many people like to treat themselves to a new ensemble for a friend’s big day.
If past outfits are to be considered, it wouldn’t be surprising if Meghan wore a dark outfit of navy or black, two colours she has been enjoying wearing recently.
It’s also expected Meghan will wear a fascinator, an accessory royals are expected to wear to formal events.
