‘We have a queen-in-waiting!’ Kate’s busy week indicates ‘extraordinary’ royal role

KATE MIDDLETON’s impressive handling of a packed week of royal duties has shown that “we have a queen-in-waiting,” according to a royal expert.

“We have a queen in the waiting.

“What I loved was the contrast with that golden dress and her earlier in the week with the tennis mini skirt.

“This is a woman who is about to hit 40, knocked out three kids and is smacking it about with Radacanu.”

The royal expert added: “Quite extraordinary, she’s really shown her versatility.”

The Duchess joined Charles, Camilla and her husband Prince William on the red carpet this week for the Bond film.

Even James Bond star Daniel Craig complimented the Duchess’ dazzling gown worn to the 007 world premiere.

The actor, who has stepped down from the famous role, told Kate “You look jolly lovely” when she wore a sparkling gold Jenny Packham gown to the global launch of No Time To Die.

The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor, Rebecca English, added that the glitz and glamour on show from the royals this week was what Britons needed.

She said: “We’ve all been desperate in these times of isolation and lockdown for a bit of glamour, and we certainly got that in spades.”

In addition to playing doubles with the US Open champion and staring on the red carpet, the Duchess also managed to fit in a day trip to Northern Ireland alongside Prince William.

The couple arrived in Londonderry and met with young people and toured Ulster University’s Magee Campus.

This comes as a “very tender moment” between Kate and Prince Charles photographed on the red carpet this week appeared to be a response to Harry’s remarks about his father, according to Dr Dunlop.

The Duchess of Cambridge was snapped in a tender embrace with her father-in-law at the premiere of the new James Bond film, No Time To Die.

Royal commentator and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop told Palace Confidential that it was “naive” to think this moment was not a response to the Duke of Sussex’s remarks.
