Thomas Markle: It would be easier for Meghan if I was dead
Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle has spoken out once again, in what appears to be another bid to get his daughter’s attention.
He says he can no longer contact the Duchess of Sussex, and thinks Meghan and Prince Harry may be better off if he weren’t alive.
“The men in my family rarely live over 80 so I’d be surprised if I had another ten years. I could die tomorrow,” the 74-year-old, who suffers heart problems, told Mail on Sunday.

“Perhaps it would be easier for Meghan if I died,” he said later in the interview.
“Everybody would be filled with sympathy for her.”

Royal fans will remember the spectacle Thomas created just before the royal wedding in May, when he was caught staging paparazzi photos in which he was looking at Meghan and Harry images in an internet cafe.
He also didn’t end up walking his famous daughter due to suffering a heart attack days before the royal nuptials in London.
Recently a source came forward claiming he never underwent heart surgery at the time of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s wedding in May.
“The whole story about Meghan’s father undergoing heart surgery was made up,’ the source told the Daily Mail.

According to reports at the time, Thomas was admitted to the Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, however when contacted by the Daily Mail to hospital said “no such name” had ever checked in.
But in his new interview, Thomas says he was definitely admitted, and that the hospital is bound by confidentiality.
