Kate Middleton did not “call off” plans for a third pregnancy, despite a new claim. Gossip Cop can debunk this unfounded story.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the royal mom of two is “calling off her third pregnancy plans, mostly because Prince William has apparently been an absentee father.” The webloid even claims Middleton has “made it no secret that she’s unhappy with her current situation at home.” As evidence that she’s given “hints that she’s done having children,” the site points to comments the Duchess of Cambridge made about adjusting to parenthood following son Prince George’s birth.
From there, the outlet regurgitates already busted claims about Middleton secretly posting on parenting sites and mommy blogs for advice. “But if Kate can’t handle raising two kids on her own, there’s simply no way that she’ll manage three small children under the age of 5,” declares the outlet, speculating, “That might be the reason why she’s saying no to a third pregnancy.”
CDL insists, “She doesn’t want to be left alone, angry and frustrated with the struggles of raising small children while her husband goes off on one of his ski trips with his pals.” Yet at the very end, the webloid backs away from its claims, saying, “Then again, the only two people who really know what’s going on behind closed doors are of course the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge themselves.”
So why, then, does the blog keep publishing suspicious stories like this one, pretending to have scoops? The site readily admits it doesn’t know what’s going on, yet still makes allegations with nary a source to back them up. A source-less article Gossip Cop busted earlier this month for falsely asserting Middleton was begging Prince William to go to couples therapy is but one example.
Celeb Dirty Laundry didn’t have any accurate insight into Middleton’s life a few weeks ago, and still doesn’t now.
