Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles are not “coming between” Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim that wrongly contends the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Cornwall have “teamed up” to “wreck” the relationship of the redheaded royal and his actress girlfriend. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
According to Celebrity Insider, both Markle and Prince Harry “annoy” Middleton and Bowles so much so that they have “joined forces in wrecking Harry’s romance.” A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the often disproven site, “Middleton is angry that Harry and Markle’s relationship has taken the spotlight away from her during her third pregnancy.”
What’s more, The Inquisitr, which appears to have been the source material for Celebrity Insider, asserts Middleton and Camilla “have the power to destroy” Prince Harry’s relationship. In that piece about how Bowles and Middleton are trying to “wreck” his romance, a questionable tipster alleges, “The royal family disapproves of Meghan,” and “Camilla is said to be leading the charge on that score.”
Let Gossip Cop set the record straight with what’s going here. None of these claims true. And that sentence from The Inquistr about Bowles “leading the charge of that score” was actually ripped off word-for-word from yet another equally unreliable site. Basically, a bunch of outlets are regurgitating each other’s seemingly made-up quotes and presenting them in slightly different ways.
Regardless, we fact-check every story ,and a royal insider assures us that both reports are complete “nonsense. Contrary to the latest assertions, Middleton and Bowles are not hoping “to end” or derail Prince Harry’s romance with Markle. In fact, Gossip Cop is told the Duchess of Cambridge is rather fond of the “Suits” actress, and is pleased her brother-in-law is happy and in love.
Actually, both The Inquistr and Celebrity Insider’s articles bear a striking resemblance to a slew of other stories Gossip Cop has previously debunked. For example, we corrected the similarly untrustworthy Celeb Dirty Laundry in July when it falsely maintained Bowles warned Markle against marrying Prince Harry. And in June, we called out that same website for wrongly contending Middleton was “envious” of how Prince Harry spoils Markle. Clearly, the angle of what the royal family thinks of Markle is a popular premise, but sadly several online outlets are simply publishing reconstituted falsehoods and unsubstantiated claims.
