Princess Diana documentary: Prince William and Harry admit losing Diana is ‘still raw’
Prince William and Harry have opened up about their mother Diana to celebrate her life and legacy.
The Princess of Wales’ sons are set to share their most intimate memories of her for the first time in a new ITV documentary.
Harry, 32, believes that the the 20th anniversary of her death is a good time to remember his late mother, but revealed that it “still feels raw”.
He said: “This is the first time that the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother.
“Arguably, probably a little bit too raw up until this point. It’s still raw.”
William, 35, said: “There’s not many days that go by that I don’t think of her.
“Her 20th anniversary year feels like a good time to remember, you know all the good things about her and hopefully provide maybe a different side to her that others haven’t seen before.
“We felt, you know, incredibly loved, Harry and I, and I’m very grateful that that love still – still feels there.”

Flicking through a photo album alongside his brother, William noted one particular snap and said: “That is quite a special picture of the two of you which I thought was quite sweet. Believe it or not you and I are both in this photograph. You are in the tummy.”
Harry added: “It was that love that – that even if she was on the other side of a room, that you, as a son, you could feel it.”
