Prince Harry, 32, and Meghan Markle, 36, have been dating for over a year now and things appear to be hotting up between the pair.
August spelled a busy month for Harry as he whisked girlfriend Meghan away to Botswana in Africa for her 36th birthday and on his return he marked the 20th anniversary of his mother Princess Diana’s death.
This month, the prince and the Suits star will take part in their first official royal engagement together, it has been reported.
So what do we know about their relationship so far, and will an engagement happen soon if it has not already?
The pair travelled to Botswana at the beginning of August for Meghan’s 36th birthday to soak up the wildlife, and they even took a water safari on the Okavango Delta.
They then went to Livingstone in Zambia at the end of last week and finished their trip at Victoria Falls, one of the seven ‘natural wonders’ of the world.
But Prince Harry was seen out in London two weeks ago at the White Garden in Kensington palace paying tribute to his mother, Princess Diana’s loving memory.
Many people have drawn similarities to the time Prince William proposed to the Duchess, Kate Middleton in Kenya.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned home from their getaway to Africa together, and as rumours of an engagement escalate, could the couple be about to make an important announcement?
As well as being the place where William proposed to Kate, its the destination the brothers and their father, Prince Charles, flew too after their mother, Princess Diana, died.
He has called it the place “where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world” and where he has an “intense sense of complete relaxation and normality”.
Friends of the pair have claimed the engagement is official.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday Prince Harry popped the question to the Suits actress while the couple were camping in Botswana.
They said the helicopter pilot prince flew Meghan out to the top secret site before proposing under the stars.
Rather than a ring, Harry reportedly chose Zulu betrothal bracelets, an updated version of those currently worn by the couple as a symbol of love.
The source said: “Harry’s told his friends he’s hoping to make the official announcement in September.
“The setting and the bracelets were just so special to Harry.”
