Throughout the pandemic, the royal has regularly chosen to pick affordable pieces of jewellery to add to her looks.
This includes necklaces and earrings from brands like Monica Vinader and Missoma.
Although Kate has the option to wear expensive jewels all the time, the royal decides to incorporate a mixture of affordable and high-end into her outfits, dependent on occasion.
According to one expert this makes the royal “more relatable”.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Nick Withington, Managing Director of jeweller William May, said: “Kate uses British based designers and affordable high street brands, both contemporary brands like Monica Vinader as well as high street labels such as Accessorize.
“Kate regularly wears affordable statement earrings and surprisingly many are under £150.”
The expert revealed that not only does she own pieces from high-street brands, she will wear them repeatedly.
He added: “This makes her more relatable to the British public as she isn’t afraid to repeat her accessories, which are also obtainable pieces.
“The Kate effect can cause items to sell out almost immediately for many retailers.”
This applies to Kate’s clothing too which will regularly sell out after she is spotted wearing a particular piece.
Nick added: “Costume or fashion jewellery is a great addition to any jewellery lover’s collection, especially for that season.
“Wear them and love them, but for resale value and longevity go for the classic real gold and or silver options that will last more than a season.”
One pair of Kate’s favourite earrings are her Monica Vinader Siren earrings which she wears a lot of the time.
They quickly became one of the retailer’s bestsellers.
Although they retail at around £125, they are a cheaper pair of earrings in the Duchess’ collection.
As well as jewellery, Kate will also wear clothing from high-street brands such as Zara.
For one of her most recent appearances, the royal wore a £60 bright blue blazer to mark International Day of the Midwife.
The blazer had a wide collar, two large front pockets and six gold buttons down the front of it.
Blue was a fitting choice for the occasion as it is associated with health and it features on the NHS’s logo.
It seems Kate is a huge fan of this blazer as she owns it in multiple different colours.
She wore it in an apple green version last month, also from Zara costing just £59.99.
The Duchess also owns clothing pieces from retailers like Marks and Spencer and Boden.
