King Felipe of Spain’s nephew is being investigated by police and if convicted could face a prison sentence.

According to El Confidential newspaper, the police are investigating an incident that happened at a nightclub in Madrid, Spain on November 25.

Reports have said around 30 people were involved in a brawl outside the Vandido nightclub, and knives are believed to have been involved.

One person, who is believed to be a friend of Froilán, suffered a small cut on his arm from a knife.

Police investigating the matter also found bloodstains and part of a car’s wing mirror on the ground at the incident.

It is currently believed that the fight broke out after the car was damaged.

Police are investigating Froilán for the possible charge affray.

If convicted, the young royal could face a prison term of between three months to one year.

However, it should be noted that in Spain prison sentences under two years are usually suspended for first-time offenders.

The Spanish royal attempted to skip the queue to use the toilet, which caused a row with another patron.

Froilán allegedly told the man he “didn’t know who he was speaking to” which resulted in the royal being punched in the face.

The owner of the bar reportedly reprimanded the patron for having hurt “the little prince”.

The New York Post has reported that Froilán is known for his tantrums and has been kicked out of school for failing his exams.

When he was 13 years old, Froilán shot himself in the foot, after using a target practice outside of his family home, even though the legal age to use a firearm in Spain is 14 years old.

At age 16, Froilán was accused of using a racial slur against a teenager while at a theme park on a school trip after trying to skip the queue to go on a ride.

He is alleged to have told a worker of his status as “fourth in line to the Spanish throne” which the staff member said he would still have to wait his turn.

The newspaper El Economista reported that a student from another school told him to get in the queue, to which the royal allegedly told him to shut up and used a derogatory term to describe someone of Chinese descent.
