Most children call their father “daddy” but not the Cambridge children, it seems. The Cambridge children made cards not just for their mother Kate but also for the late Princess Diana, the grandmother they will never meet.
In a card shared on Instagram by @KensingtonRoyal to mark mother’s day last year Princess Charlotte’s handwriting could be seen.
She said: “Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you on Mother’s Day.
“I love you very much, Papa is missing you.
“Lots of love, Charlotte.”
Princess Charlotte has an adorable name for her father William
Prince George also added a message on the card.
He said: “Dear Granny Diana, Happy Happy Mother’s Day.
“I love you very much and think of you always, sending lots of love from George.”
Two-year-old Louis had a simple message “from Louis” featuring a painted heart on a green background.
William was only 15 when his mother Diana died
Diana, Princess of Wales and the mother of The Duke of Cambridge, died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.
On Instagram user lana_chimchim said: “Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s card is so sweet.”
