Royal Wedding: Princess Eugenie goody bags FOR SALE on eBay hours after ceremony
Goody bags from Princess Eugenie’s Royal Wedding have been put up for sale on eBay, just hours after she married Jack Brooksbank in a stunning ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
One goody bag has appeared on the website for £350 on the same day as the wedding, but it has not yet received any bids.
Guests at the Royal Wedding were all given a burgundy bag, which has the bride and groom’s first initials – E and J – on the front in gold font, as well as the date and wedding venue.
Treats inside the bag include a chocolate coin, a biodegradable poncho, biscuits, a can of water and a magnet.
Other bags for sale on eBay range from around £200 to £700.
Princess Eugenie – who is ninth in line to the throne – married long-term boyfriend Mr Brooksbank today in what was the second Royal Wedding of the year.
800 people attended, with more than 40 members of the royal family including the Queen, Prince Philip, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Sarah, Duchess of York, also attended her daughter’s wedding, marking the first time the Duchess has been pictured with Philip for 26 years after she was ousted from the royal family after the infamous “toe-sucking” scandal.
Sarah has remained on good terms with Prince Andrew, despite divorcing in 1996.
The pair, both 58, have previously described themselves as the “world’s happiest unmarried couple”.
Kate Moss, Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field were among the celebrities invited to the ceremony.
And 1,200 members of the public attended the grounds of Windsor Castle for the special day.
Eugenie was walked down the aisle by her proud father, followed by a group of eight young bridesmaids and page boys.
The bride looked sensational in a gown by British-based designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vo, which featured a low back revealing her scars from surgery to correct scoliosis when she was 12 .
Following the beautiful ceremony, which saw maid of honour Princess Beatrice read a passage from F Scott Fitzgerald’s Great Gatsby, the newlyweds took a short carriage ride through Windsor.
The Queen hosted an afternoon reception for the happy couple and their guests at Windsor Castle.
And evening celebrations are being held at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, the home of Andrew and Sarah.
Mr Brooksbank drove his new wife from Windsor Castle to the evening party in a silver DB10 Aston Martin sports car.
