Royal wedding: THIS is the first thing Meghan Markle will do when she arrives at the venue
ROYAL WEDDING: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will get married on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel, but what will Meghan do first on the day? A video of St. George’s Chapel offers an exclusive insight into the special day.
The royal wedding day will see Meghan Markle, 36, marry Prince Harry, 33, in a ceremony at 12 noon on May 19 2018 at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The grand 14th-century chapel, which seats 800 people at full capacity, is showcased in an exclusive CNN video.
The video also details what will be expected of former actress Meghan on her special day.
This includes the first thing Meghan will do upon arriving at the venue, ahead of the midday wedding ceremony.
As soon as she gets out of her bridal car, Meghan will be confronted with a challenge, said CNN’s Max Foster.
“The car will come into what will be an eerily quiet cloister,” he explained in the video.
“It will stop here, and the first thing that will confront the bride is some 20 steps leading up to the chapel.”
Max continues, describes the moment Meghan walks into the venue for the guests to see her.
He said: “As Meghan Markle enters the church, the guests will turn around and see her at the West Door beneath that spectacular stained glass window.
“This whole area will be filled with seats, 600 people in total,” he continued.
Meghan Markle will be confronted with a steep steps when she arrives at St. George’s Chapel
“While it looks vast and spacious, it’s actually looks quite intimate at this level,”
“It’s quite narrow as we move up from the knave to the choir. Then a few more steps.”
The royal couple will tie the knot at the chapel, before a wedding reception at Frogmore House.
It was revealed earlier today that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be given a wedding gift from the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II looks likely to give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a stately home as a gift.
She has previously bequeathed Anmer Hall in the Sandringham estate to Prince William, 35, and Kate Middleton, 36.
Royal finance expert David McClure told Cosmopolitan: “William got a place on the Sandringham estate at Anmer and my hunch is that if he (Harry) gets a place in the country, he and Meghan might want to be nearer London and as such somewhere in the Home Counties might be preferable.
“The Queen has a habit of giving property,” he added.
“There’s every chance that Harry and Meghan might find themselves the proud owners of a nice property outside of London.”
Currently, Meghan and Harry live in Nottingham Cottage, a small residence in Kensington Palace.
