MEGHAN MARKLE “felt snubbed” by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge who felt Meghan had “used her” to “climb the Royal ladder”, according to a sensational claim.
The claim was made an alleged Royal insider. The source spoke to US publication Us weekly. The outlet reported the two Duchesses aired their grievances over the Christmas period at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The insider said: “Kate opened up about feeling like Meghan had used her to climb the Royal ladder.”
They added that Meghan told Kate she “had felt snubbed” by her as she was finding her footing as a Royal throughout the year.
But they managed to put any supposed differences behind them during the Christmas period.
According to the insider, “being under the same roof meant that they couldn’t avoid each other”.
They also claimed the Queen “had reached her limit with all the drama”, which may have also contributed to the makeup.
Another source told the Sun: “You wouldn’t know there was any tension between the two.
“It was a wonderful day and night.”
The Duchesses were living side-by-side at Kensington Palace when rumours of a rift between them began to circulate.
The rumours surfaced after Meghan and Harry announced they would be moving to Frogmore Cottage on the Queen’s Frogmore Estate in the grounds of Windsor’s Home Park.
The Frogmore Estate or Gardens comprise 33 acres of private gardens within the Home Park adjoining Windsor Castle, in Berkshire.
It is the location of Frogmore House, a favoured Royal retreat.
The location is “very special” to Harry and Meghan, according to Kensington Palace.
It was where they chose to have their official engagement photos at the suggestion of Her Majesty.
They also chose to use a shot of them there on their wedding reception night as the image for their Christmas card this year.
