Royal news: £200 Diana gown to go for £100k
A STUNNING gown owned by Princess Diana is on sale for £100,000 – 24 years after it was bought second-hand for £200.

She wore the ivory silk dress encrusted with jewels during a 1986 state visit to Bahrain. The housekeeper of a home belonging to one of Diana’s pals later gave it to a second-hand dress shop in Hereford. The new unnamed seller bought the David Emanuel frock in 1994 while working in the shop.
She kept it in a box in her wardrobe – but decided to part with it after seeing a documentary with Diana wearing it.
Kerry Taylor auctions, of south London, has valued it at up to £100,000 for the December 10 sale.
Ms Taylor said: “It is a very important dress.
“We expect fierce bidding on the day.”
