A ROYAL commentator has said he believes there is some truth to reports Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton do not get on.

The warring Duchesses’ relationship has been under intense strain following a number of alleged standoffs.
And journalist Duncan Larcombe, the author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, said he believes there may be something to the reports that Prince Harry’s pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, does not get on with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, both 37.
In an explosive new interview, the writer said: “I think it’s very interesting that the Palace have come out and denied certain stories but, others they haven’t actually denied at all.”

The rumours first emerged after claims Meghan had been branded “Duchess Difficult” by Palace insiders after another of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s aides – Samantha Cohen – resigned from her role.
There were also claims Kate had told Meghan not to berate members of her team after she reportedly “b****cked” one of Kate’s staff.
But the pair appeared to put any tension behind them when they appeared together on Christmas Day at St Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Mr Larcombe also slammed the Duchess of Sussex’s family – claiming their behaviour throughout her relationship with Prince Harry has been “tacky”.
He slammed Meghan’s father, Thomas, and half-sister Samantha, saying: ‘They have reduced the commentary of the Royal family to something from the Jerry Springer Show, you know it’s tacky.’

In stark comparison, he praised Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, for her quiet presence next to her daughter on her wedding day, adding: ‘She’s maintained a dignified silence, she has done everything right.’
The writer also revealed that Prince Harry and Prince William are “very, very defensive” of their wives – and that he and Harry once nearly had a fight.
He said: “I’ve found that with Harry and William as well, that if you write a story about them that’s true, and that’s fair, they don’t have a problem with it.
“Where they start getting angry or defensive is when you get something wrong, they’re also very, very defensive of their other halves.”
He added: “Harry and I very nearly had a fight once.

“It was fine, we had a bit of a heated argument, but Harry is a passionate guy and if he’s angry he’ll tell you.
“Good on him, he’s honest.”
He also spoke about what it was like reporting on the young royals during their wilder years – especially in light of him reporting on the infamous “Nazi-gate” incident which saw a 19-year-old Prince Harry being pictured wearing a Swastika at a fancy dress party.
“I think it’s very interesting that the Palace have come out and denied certain stories”

He said: “There were real concerns [in the royal family] that Prince Harry was here imploding publicly, and what was that going to do to the reputation of the Royals?
“As it turns out it was the best thing that could have happened to them, this wild and rebellious prince has now become the Jewel In The Crown of the British Royal Family.”
The interview airs on Yahoo’s series, the Royal Box, which focuses around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
