Netflix has released the first trailer of a docu-series focused on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s life and love.
Twitter user Mary Smith (@MarySmi01384769) wrote on the social media platform: “They are so cute! And [oh my God] that photo of Kate glaring into the camera from the Commonwealth ceremony”.
Another, Aidan Moffat (@AidanJohnMoffat), wrote: “Okay, so I watched the trailer for the Harry & Meghan Netflix show, couldn’t help myself.
“The best thing about it is a shot of Kate Wales looking utterly evil – they’re on the absolute wind-up and it’s hilarious. Added to Watch List.”
Twitter user @lovesomeaaloo wrote: “Not Prince Harry and Meghan sneaking in a Kate and William photo in their Netflix docu trailer WHILE KATE and WILLIAM are in the US! The shade of it all”.

Prince William breaks silence on race storm after his godmother was forced to step down
Prince William has spoken out after a black guest at Buckingham Palace allegedly faced a series of racially-motivated comments from the Prince’s godmother.
Many royal commentators noted the trailer was released on the second day of the much-anticipated visit to Boston of the Prince and Princess of Wales focused on William’s environmental initiative, the Earthshot Prize.
Kelly (@kelsomerville) wrote: “So predictable they drop this when Will and Kate are on tour in the US.”
Jackie Pouch (@JPouch) said: “Did we expect anything less from them! Especially as Prince & Princess of Wales are in the US! It always happens when another Royal is taking away their limelight!!”
Commentators also expressed their thoughts, with author Robert Jobson tweeting: “Harry & Meghan drop bombshell @Netflix docu TV trailer saying ‘no one sees what’s happening behind closed doors’ just as William & Catherine face the second day of US visit after Palace race row. Prince and Princess are expected to meet @POTUS on Friday ahead of #EarthshotBoston2022.”
Royal correspondent Cameron Walker said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix documentary is out.
“The cynic in me would question the timing (this week should be about Prince William’s Earthshot Prize). Regardless, it looks like Harry and Meghan still have grievances to vent.”
And Jack Royston added: “The sound of glass breaking as it cuts from Meghan Markle crying to Kate Middleton, Prince William staring at camera at Commonwealth Day in 2020. Clearly, there are bombshells coming.”
The one-minute preview features personal black-and-white photos of the couple as well as some taken during royal engagements flashing across the screen.
One of the many snaps chosen for the trailer, however, also showed other members of the Firm – and the Princess of Wales in particular.

It showed Kate looking in the direction of the camera while sitting in the first row next to Prince William, Queen Camilla and King Charles.
In accordance with the pecking order, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen sitting in the second row.
During the trailer, Harry is asked “Why did you want to make this documentary?” to which he replied: “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors.”
Then Meghan can be heard speaking and, sitting down for an interview, she added: “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
In its description, Netflix describes the film as a “global event” and says it is “coming soon”.
Last month, US publication Page Six claimed the docu-series would be released on December 8.
