Journalist Josh Rom suggested that now that the Prince and his wife Meghan Markle attended royal engagements alongside other members of the Royal Family, Harry is rewriting his book as he “wasn’t expecting the absolute adoration” the public expressed for his relatives.

He told the American far-right channel NewsmaxTV: “Prince Harry is now scrambling chapters and passages of his book because He thinks he might come across as insensitive.”

And added: “He fears he might receive intense backlash from the publication of his book because he wasn’t expecting the absolute adoration from the family at the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s death, and the outpouring of love for King Charles III and also the Queen Consort, Camilla, as well as the utmost support for his brother Prince William and the Princess of Wales.”

Meghan and Harry bodyguard convicted of assault

Pere Daobry served in the Metropolitan Police for over a decade.

A former Met Police officer who was assigned on a protection detail to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their visit to the UK this month assaulted his wife, who said at the time she was left “seconds away from death”, new reports show.

Pere Daobry, 51, was convicted of attacking his wife, Sarah Jay, at Colchester Magistrates’ Court in September 2016, according to reports.

Daobry reportedly strangled his spouse before calling emergency services.

He told a 999 operator: “I want to report an assault and I am the perpetrator. I have assaulted my wife.”

He then said: “I tried to strangle her.”

But the ex-police officer and bodybuilder was pictured escorting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from Frogmore Cottage to Euston Station on September 5.

A source told MailOnline: “When you consider how outspoken Meghan is on women’s issues it’s quite amazing that a bodyguard with that sort of background has been employed.

“His wife Sarah went through a really traumatic time with him and I’m sure if Meghan and Harry knew the full story they wouldn’t be at all comfortable with him being employed as their bodyguard.”

The source added: “I really don’t think Harry and Meghan would want someone like him guarding them.”

Prince William talks making breakfast for his kids

The Prince of Wales can make a “good breakfast”, the heir to the throne has said during a visit to Swansea this week.

He complimented the products in the kitchen of the local church, commenting: “That looks amazing.”

He then added: “I do a good breakfast – sausage, bacon and eggs.”

Harry and Meghan push back return to work

Meghan Markle’s new podcast has taken a break since the death of Her Majesty with HELLO! reporting that the couple are taking this week off to spend time with their children. The next episode is expected to be released next week with the duchess discussing Asian-American trops with comedian Margaret Cho, Variety reports. The Sussexes moved to the US after they stepped down as senior royals in March 2020.

The departure – famously known as ‘Megxit’ – has seen Harry and Meghan only return to the UK together on a handful of occasions over the last two-and-a-half years.

Her Majesty’s death sparked renewed calls for a reconciliation between Prince Harry, his brother Prince William and his father King Charles.

In his first address as King, Charles extended his love for the couple as “they continue to build their life overseas”.
