Royal BABY BUMP: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘HIRE’ Hollywood nanny used by A-LISTERS
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have hired a nanny to help raise their first baby, and she was suggested by one of the couple’s most famous friends.
Connie Simpson was recommended to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by George and Amal Clooney.
Ms Simpson, from Mobile, Alabama is a celebrity nanny.
The childcare veteran has worked for a whole host of famous parents including Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and Cash Warren and Jessica Alba.
Justin Timberlake posted on his official Instagram page in June 2017: “Please meet one of my other mothers, my sister from another mister, and someone I like to call, “The Baby Whisperer.”
“This is Nanny Connie and she is a living angel.
“She taught me so much on how to just be the parent and she’s from the South so we are probably related (same swag).
“Follow her for guidance, knowledge and more!!!”
Ms Simpson said: “I’ll tell Meghan that in all the things you can give a person, the most important thing you can give them is yourself and your love.
“The baby is going to have no earthly idea that their mother is Meghan Markle and that she’s Prince Harry’s wife.
“They will just know her for being the one to supply that milk and give comfort.”
The nanny, who is an expert at looking after twins, added: “I would say as much as she can to just enjoy the moment of being a mother, the transformations of her body and the different stages of that baby’s life.
“I’d also advise her to not be overwhelmed by people’s advice.
“While she may take in information from people like her sister-in-law, don’t try to apply it all to her life because it’s not all going to work.
“There’s a beautiful little bean coming into the world so they need to enjoy what they made.”
The nanny has previously said she has taken care of 257 babies over her 30-year career, according to reports.
She said last year: “‘Nanny Connie’ is a title- I feel that I am more of a life coach.
“I’m a family coach. I’m all about the nucleus of the family, and being together.”
The baby will be seventh in line to the throne, and the Queen’s eighth great-grandchild.
Meghan Markle’s bump is expected to be born next spring, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
Ms Simpson told the Daily Star the Duchess will be “overwhelmed” being pregnant for the first time.
She said: “Meghan’s going to be very overwhelmed.
“I’ll tell her she needs to enjoy the moment and this special time with her new baby.
“She’s going to be so overwhelmed with all the information and all the ‘lookie lookers’ who are going to be peering into her life.
“So I’ll say enjoy those subtle moments – even the throwing up during pregnancy.
“I only have one child and all I remember is the sickness I had with her but at the same time, it was a bonding experience with my child.”
Ms Simpson failed to confirm if she has been hired.
But a source said: “Connie helped bring up the Clooney twins for a short period.
“Meghan trusts Amal implicitly and has hired Connie on her recommendation.”
