MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry secretly attended the judging of the Endeavour Fund Awards yesterday, it has been revealed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement on Wednesday was revealed in the Court Circular. The judging of the annual awards – which celebrate the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women in sporting and adventure challenges – took place at Kensington Palace.
The announcement on the Court Circular said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this afternoon attended the judging of the Endeavour Fund Awards at Kensington Palace.”
The Endeavour Fund was set up by The Royal Foundation in 2012 to support servicemen and women.
It comes after the couple attended last year’s Endeavour Fund Awards.
Meghan looked sharp in an Alexander McQueen trouser suit as she joined Harry for the engagement in February 2018, three months before their Windsor wedding.
And she even took to the stage to present a prize, telling attendees: “I’m truly privileged to be here.”
It is not known if the couple will attend this year’s awards ceremony.
Last Wednesday, Meghan and Harry stepped out in public together as they attended Cirque du Soleil’s charity performance of Totem at the Royal Albert Hall.
Meghan stunned in a glittering dress which showed off her blossoming baby bump.
The event was held in aid of Harry’s charity Sentebale, which works to help children affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.
Earlier in the week, Meghan revealed that she is due to give birth at the end of April or early May as she chatted to royal well-wishers during a trip to Birkenhead with Harry.
Kensington Palace had only previously said that the 37-year-old’s due date was in the spring.
Meghan added that she and Harry did not know if they were having a boy or a girl.
The Duchess is showing no signs of slowing down despite her pregnancy.
Meghan also attended an engagement to animal charity Mayhew, one of her four royal patronages, last week.
And on Monday, Meghan had a secret meeting with New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The mother-to-be previously met Ms Ardern during her royal overseas tour with Harry last year.
