‘Mr Wonderful’ The secret love of Princess Diana’s life REVEALED
Princess Diana won the hearts of a string of male admirers after her divorce with Prince Charles – but only one man was “the love of her life”, it has been claimed.
The Princess of Wales was no stranger to whirlwind romances before her tragic car crash death in 1997.
Now the details of her love life have been laid bare in new documentary The Last 100 Days of Diana.
Diana was so overwhelmed with potential suitors, she listed them in order of rank on a board in Paul Burrell’s pantry, it is claimed.
But her former butler claims none of them came close to British surgeon Hasnat Khan.
Diana was tragically killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997 at the age of 35.
When she split with Prince Charles, she embarked on a new carefree life released from the shackles of the Royal family.
The Princess of Wales met with Khan while waiting in a hospital waiting room in 1994.
Royal insiders say she was besotted with the doctor, to the point she nicknamed him “Mr Wonderful”.
Tina Brown, the author of The Diana Chronicles, said: “Diana fell in love with Hasnat Khan when she went to visit a friend in hospital and there he was, the doctor with the big, limpid, dark eyes.”
Diana had a number of boyfriends, including Dodi Al Fayed and businessman Gulu Lalvani.
But Burrell claims Khan was different and “virtually moved into Kensington Palace” during the affair.

He said: “I would have to tell the maids, ‘No maids in the princess’s rooms today,’ because she’d say to me, ‘Oh Sleeping Beauty, still asleep. He’s been working all night. Leave him’.”
Darren McGrady – Diana’s personal chef – said she also knew about the secretive tryst.
McGrady said: “I remember the princess’ sort of weekend menu changed slightly.
“She was asking for, you know, curries and things like that.”
But while pals of Diana were convinced Khan was “the one”, he was unsure about their future.
Khan, a Muslim man from a traditional family, was under the thumb of his mother, who was “going to find him the person to marry”.
