The 31-year-old met her now-husband more than 11 years ago in Switzerland and they were together for eight years before they got married.
The wedding took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle and the royal wore a gorgeous gown designed by Peter Pilotto and Christoper De Vos.
The designers included a number of symbols that are important to the bridge, including a Thistle for Scotland, a Shamrock for Ireland and the York Rose, and ivy.
Jack proposed to Eugenie nine months before the wedding took place.
He got down on one knee in the idyllic destination of Nicaragua.
The Central American nation is set between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, known for its beautiful beaches.
He presented Eugenie with a stunning engagement ring.
The ring, which features a beautiful padparadscha sapphire, is surrounded by diamonds.
Although not a working royal, Eugenie has flashed her ring many times over the years on royal outings.
It bears a close resemblance to the engagement ring that Princess Andrew gave Eugenie’s mother, Sarah.
Speaking previously to Express.co.uk, one expert revealed that it could have a huge price tag of around £100,000.
Lorna Haddon, head of diamonds and jewellery at Beaverbrooks said: “Eugenie’s engagement ring features a classic gold band set with a stunning padparadscha sapphire.
“The rare gem is nestled within ten brilliant cut diamonds and two pear cut diamonds to emphasise the central gem and create an eye-catching finish.
“The slim gold band accentuates the central piece and draws the eye straight to the gorgeous and unusual sapphire.”
The expert also explained that “vibrant coloured” engagement rings are becoming more popular.
Princess Eugenie’s sister, Beatrice, also has a stunning engagement ring.
Beatrice became engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2019 and the couple tied the knot last year.
The beautiful ring, designed by Shaun Leane, featured a platinum band with diamond stones.
It also has a huge diamond in the middle, with several smaller ones of different cuts and sizes on the pavé-style band.
The jewels were thought to have been ethically sourced.
According to experts, the ring could be worth as much as £60,000 thanks to its intricate design.
