Princess Eugenie’s fiancé Jack reveals he is ‘TERRIFIED’ of upcoming Royal wedding
Princess Eugenie will marry her fiancé Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Friday, but her husband-to-be has opened up about feeling “terrified” of the Royal wedding.
While the Princess of York has claimed she is not feeling “stressed” at all about her big day, Mr Brooksbank said otherwise.
He told the Daily Mail: “I’ll need to take a few minutes for myself before the speeches because I am terrified.
“It’s very exciting but I am a little bit nervous.”
In contrast to her fiancé, Princess Eugenie said in a recent interview with British Vogue: “I am not stressed at all.
“It’s very nerve-racking because you want it to be perfect but then you realise that you’re going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters.”
The Princess of York has also firmly denied requests to give away any details of the ceremony, and the couple is yet to publicly confirm the full line up of their wedding parties.
However, Mr Brooksbank has let some details of the lavish ceremony slip.
He said: “I’ve not been kept out of all the planning.
I get to decide some things.
“I’m in charge of drinks and we’ll be serving Casamigos.”
Mr Brooksbank is a liquor distributor, who currently works as the UK ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s top-shelf tequila brand.
However, despite working closely with Mr Clooney, Eugenie’s fiancé could not confirm if the actor and his wife, Amal, would be attending the ceremony.
He added: “I can’t say if George Clooney is coming.”
Eugenie, 28, and Mr Brooksbank, 32, announced their engagement in January this year after seven years of dating, releasing stunning pictures taken inside Buckingham Palace.
The Royal couple are said to have met on a skiing holiday in Verbier, Switzerland, in 2010.
Speaking at the time of their engagement, Eugenie – who is ninth in line to the throne – revealed how the pair fell for each other.
She said: “We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life.”
Mr Brooksbank said it was “love at first sight” in a romantic statement.
