Princess Eugenie wedding: Jack Brooksbank pays TRIBUTE to fiancée with THIS clothing item
Princess Eugenie’s finance Jack Brooksbank was pictured enjoying a night out without his bride-to-be on Thursday night – but he wore a special item of clothing to pay tribute to his princess in the run-up to the big day.
The couple are due to marry at St George’s Chapel Windsor on October 12, in a lavish ceremony taking place in the Berkshire town.
It is the same venue that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle held their fairytale Royal wedding in May this year.
Ahead of the big day, Mr Brooksbank, 31, attended the launch party of Harry’s Bar in Marylebone, London – without his Princess by his side.
But even though the couple will marry in one week’s time, he paid tribute to his fiancé with a very subtle item of clothing – the same red tie that he wore for his engagement portraits with Princes Eugenie.
The tie was featured in the couple’s photo set that accompanied their engagement announcement on January 23, 2018.
A cool and collected Mr Brooksbank, who works as brand ambassador for George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila brand – looked smart as he rocked the sentimental tie with a sharp blue suit.
According to PEOPLE, a family friend said: “Jack is a really lovely, very kind, down-to-earth man.
“He is great fun and has a great sense of humour. He is the first to laugh with you and not at you, and he is a practical joker, in a good way!”
The couple’s lavish wedding will be similar to that of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who wed at the Chapel in May with the eyes of the world upon them.
And similar to the Duke and Duchess’ lavish wedding, Eugenie and Jack will invite select members of the public for a vow of the nuptials.
Following their ceremony, they will also make a shirt horse drawn carriage procession through Windsor town centre.
The pair will also have not one, not two but Three wedding receptions following their marriage, starting at Royal Lodge Windsor, a venue that played host to the secret lives of secret lives of the Queen, Princess Margaret and even King George VI.
28-year-old Eugenie, 28 had her pick of venues to host her wedding reception to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank, 32, requested her old home for her second party, which takes place after the Queen hosts the initial after wedding event.
It will also be the site of a third bash the Duchess of York will throw the day after the wedding on Saturday, October 13.
With the huge property overlooking the 21 acres of gardens and woodland which became a playground for royal children through the decades, the secluded mansion will no doubt provide the perfect backdrop to a Royal wedding.
