Princess Eugenie wedding begins: Fergie, Prince Andrew, bride and groom arrive at Windsor

PRINCESS Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have arrived at Windsor Castle the day before their royal wedding, joined by Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York.

Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank were pictured arriving at Windsor Castle, ahead of their wedding at St George’s Chapel tomorrow.

Andrew and Sarah travelled in a separate car with Princess Beatrice, who will act as her sister’s maid of honour.

The Queen is also at Windsor Castle, with the royal standard raised to show the monarch is in residence.

The bride smiled as she was driven to the royal venue by the groom, no doubt looking forward to her special day.

And Sarah looked excited about the upcoming nuptials as she sat next to Andrew. The pair have remained on good terms despite divorcing in 1996.

The royal wedding will take place at 11am on October 12.

800 guests are expected to attend the service, including most members of the royal family. And 1,200 members of the public have been invited to the grounds of Windsor Castle for the occasion.

Following the service, the couple will take a carriage ride through Windsor.

The Queen is hosting an afternoon reception at Windsor Castle and evening celebrations are being held at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, the home of Andrew and Sarah.

In the last week, the happy couple have released new details about their upcoming wedding.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are among the eight youngsters who will be bridesmaids and pageboys.

Mr Brooksbank’s brother, Tom Brooksbank, will be his best man.

The Dean of Windsor will give the address and officiate as the couple make their vows and the Archbishop of York has written a personal prayer for the service.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Italian singer-songwriter Andrea Bocelli will perform during the ceremony.

Eugenie, 28, and Jack, 32, have chosen London-based cake designer Sophie Cabot to make their wedding cake.

The red velvet and chocolate creation is described as a “traditional cake, with a modern feel”.

The bride was last seen on Tuesday stepping out in London. Eugenie looked glamorous in a purple dress as she showed off a glowing tan and new hair style.

Eugenie and Jack announced their engagement in January, with the couple releasing stunning pictures taken in Buckingham Palace.

Speaking at the time of their engagement, Eugenie – who is ninth in line to the throne – revealed how the pair fell for each other.

She said: “We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life.”

And romantic Mr Brooksbank said that it was “love at first sight”.

He added: “I love Eugenie so much and we are just so happy and over the moon for what is to come.”
