However, Prince Charles and Camilla joined the Queen in Windsor, along with Prince Edward, his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.
During 2019’s Christmas celebrations, Princess Charlotte impressed when she made her first curtsy to the Queen, following her mother’s example.

Kate was then spotted talking to her daughter as they headed down the steps of the churchyard.
Kate curtsied as the Queen’s car drove off, which was followed by a little curtsy from Charlotte.
Karen Anvil, who famously took a picture of Meghan, Harry, Kate and William two years ago, gave Charlotte a doll.
She later told Sky News: “Charlotte came over with her mum, she liked the doll.

“Her manners were outstanding ‒ but she’s cheeky, she wasn’t at all scared.”
She added that Prince George also had “perfect” manners.
The royal children are not left out of these festivities, but Charlotte and George have some traditions of their own that involve board games.
William has revealed his favourite games he plays with his two oldest children.
Speaking to Radio Marsden’s Barry Alston for the light-hearted chat inside Kensington Palace recently,.
He said: “When I see my children meet up with my cousins’ children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it’s very special.

“We love Monopoly and Risk, that’s a good game, it goes on for hours and usually everyone gets really cross because they lose but that’s what I like playing.”
Risk is a strategy game of “diplomacy, conflict and conquest”, on a board depicting a political map of the world.
Turns rotate among players who control armies of playing pieces with which they attempt to capture territories from other players, with results determined by dice rolls.
William also revealed that his favourite Christmas song is ‘Feliz Navidad’, by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jose Feliciano.
He added: “Because it’s a bit different, it’s a bit more jolly. I could say Mariah Carey, who I love dearly, as well.”
