While exchanging a few words with Mr Motivator during the ceremony, Prince William was seen cracking up.
Interviewed afterward, the fitness guru revealed he had briefly discussed joining forces with Prince William, given the Duke’s ongoing campaign on mental health.
Mr Motivator reported to ITV News that he told Prince William: “The strong relationship with what you have been pushing, which is all to do with mental fitness, and the physical side, the two things need to merge more.

“And he said, ‘Yeah, that’s something we should definitely be looking at doing’.
“And I said, ‘Yes, I am looking forward to working with you to make that happen’.”
Mr Evans then said the Duke of Cambridge asked him: “Do you expect me to wear a unitard?”
To which the fitness guru said to have replied: “It just so happens I have got one made up for you!”

The Duke reportedly declined Mr Evans’ jokeful offer, telling him: “I think I’ll leave that to you, I don’t think I’d look as good as you in one.”
Asked if he thinks the British public will soon see a Mr Motivator-Prince William workout, Mr Evans replied, smiling broadly: “You never know, watch this spot!
“Would it not be a great one? William and Motivator, motivated by exercise.”
Mr Motivator became a staple of early morning TV throughout the 1990s, when he guided Britons through physical exercises and gave them tips for working out in their own homes.

His TV appearances continued through the following decades.
In 2014, he took part in the BBC gymnastics inspired reality competition Tumble.
And in 2020, he joined the BBC’s Health Check UK Live TV show to help people remain fit during lockdown.
The investiture of Mr Motivator was celebrated also by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridges’ official Twitter account.
In a series of tweets, Kensington Palace highlighted some of the recipients of the awards, saying: “As The Duke conducts his first investiture of 2022 today, we shine a light on the inspirational individuals who have achieved great heights in their sporting fields and brought communities together through sport. Prince William recently discussed how his mental health benefits from light physical activity in a special episode of Fitness+’s Time to Walk, during which the Duke walked through some locations close to his heart in Sandringham.
