There is reportedly growing concern within the Royal Family about Prince Andrew’s association with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
On August 9 Virginia Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against the Queen’s favourite son in New York.
She alleged that she was forced to have several sexual encounters with Prince Andrew in the early 2000s after being trafficked by Epstein when she was 16 and 17 years old.
The Duke of York has consistently denied Ms Giuffre’s allegations.
Ms Giuffre, 38, claims she was sexually assaulted by the prince at three locations including New York City.

Prince Andrew’s lawyers have asked for a copy of a 2009 settlement they believe will nullify her civil assault case against the royal.
In a statement speaking about the settlement, Ms Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies said: “Although we believe that the release is irrelevant to the case against Prince Andrew, now that service has been accepted and the case is proceeding to a determination on the merits, we believe that counsel for Prince Andrew have a right to review the release and to make whatever arguments they believe appropriate based on it.”
The news comes after royal writer Angela Levin discussed the Duke of York’s Newsnight interview in 2019 on talkRADIO.
Speaking this morning about Prince Andrew’s reaction to the Newsnight interview Ms Levin said: “One was to ignore it, pretend it didn’t happen, he didn’t know anything about it.

“He thought it would all disappear into the night.
“The second one was to go to America and answer all the questions and nit-pick apart the accusations, which is quite dangerous.
“Remember how he was on Newsnight and then think of him on the stand, giving evidence.
“I think it would be a disaster for him.
“The third one is to try to worm out the fact that his accuser doesn’t have a case.”
