Dr Maher told viewers: “I noticed a little something as they left the church.
“Harry tapped the order of service on his thigh.
“Now this is anxiousness, it’s nerves.
“But it’s also out of step with the mood of the day.”
Prince Harry ‘nervous’ tick spotted by expert as Duke’s ‘anxiousness’ made him ‘stand out’
Dr Maher told viewers: ‘I noticed a little something as they left the church.’
She continued: “They all had one job to walk, look straight ahead and do nothing unusual.
“With none of the other distractions, it stood out.
“I found it to be rather unnecessary.”
The funeral marked the first time Harry had seen his family since moving to the US in 2020, and since his candid interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Dr Maher said: ‘Harry tapped the order of service on his thigh.’
The Duke arrived back in the UK the Sunday before the ceremony, and spent five days self-isolating.
He has now reportedly flown back to Montecito where his son, Archie, and heavily pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, are living.
Dr Maher went on to give insight into the general atmosphere of Philip’s funeral.
She told The Morning Show: “We had the public stripped away so we had all of that movement and excitement taken away.
“We could just focus on what was important.
“Their role was just duty, discipline, respect.
“It was for them to walk straight ahead, look straight ahead.
“So any little thing stood out dramatically.”
