AS Prince Harry gears up for his big day there is an important pointer he could take from older brother Prince William.
With eight days to go, Prince Harry might be wise to avoid a sticky situation his big brother got into on the eve of his wedding in 2011.
On his wedding day, the Duke of Cambridge had been running on only half an hour’s sleep.
And it wasn’t because of debauched drinking and dancing till 5am — it was a case of sheer nerves and screaming crowds camped out along the Mall, outside Clarence House, that kept him awake
The Duke of Cambridge said: “They were singing and cheering all night long, so the excitement of that, the nervousness of me and everyone singing – I slept for about half an hour.”
As for Harry, the prince is likely to sleep at Windsor Castle with the other members of the royal family on the eve of his wedding.
This will give him easy access to the wedding venue the next morning.
The couple have reportedly sworn to sleep in different bedrooms the night before they marry.

Harry and Meghan are set to tie the knot at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19.
Thousands are set to defend on the town to watch the big event, which will be telecast live to millions of people around the world.
Presumingly Prince William had no ear plugs or somewhere quieter to spend the night, but perhaps Prince Harry will choose his bedroom wisely and keep those ear plugs close.
