Prince Harry health: Duke ‘suffering mild deformity’ – expert spies condition in new snap

PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle announced they are expecting their second child with an adorable photo of themselves outdoors – but an eagle-eyed health expert has spotted something unusual about the Duke of Sussex’s appearance.

The couple confirmed their exciting news by sharing a picturesque photo of themselves sat under a tree, with Harry resting his hand on Meghan’s head as she lay in his lap cradling her baby bump. A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

In the black-and-white photograph Harry can be seen laying towards the camera with his bare-feet close to the lens.

On closer inspection, Chiropodist Dina Gohil says his toes appear to be a “slightly peculiar in shape” and points out Harry could have “mild bunion deformity”.

The health expert, who runs the practice DG Podiatrist and is an ambassador for CCS Footcare, says the apparent condition could have been caused by “high impact training” when Harry served in the military.

She told FEMAIL: “Harry’s toes may look slightly peculiar in shape in the photo, but this is down to the angle the foot is in on the ground.

“His feet seem to appear healthy and there is a good arch profile visible.

“However potentially he may have mild bunion deformity, whereby there is a medial deviation of the joint attached to the big toe, making the bony appearance prominent.

“In his case, a likely cause of this condition is the high impact training and action he underwent while in the Armed Forces.”

Meanwhile, Harry’s bare-foot appearance also caught the attention of royal watchers on social media.

One user wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations Harry and Meghan… but serious is there any need for Harry’s bare feet.”

Another added: “OK OK I’ll be the one to say it. If I never see Prince Harry’s bare feet again it’ll be too soon.”

The Duke of Sussex spent a decade in the Armed Force, including two tours of Afghanistan.

The joyous news of the expected royal arrival comes amid a whirlwind 24 hours for Meghan and Harry.

On Monday afternoon, it was confirmed the couple will take part in a tell-all interview with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey.

It will be the couple’s first TV interview since they controversially quit the Royal Family almost one year ago.

US broadcaster CBS has said the interview – to be aired on March 7 – will be conducted in two parts, with Meghan going solo, before being joined by her husband.

CBS said: “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.

“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

Buckingham Palace has addressed the news of the bombshell interview by insisting Harry and Meghan are free to do as they wish as they are no longer working members of The Firm.

In a statement, the Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess are no longer working members of the Royal Family and therefore any decisions they take with regard to media commitments are matters for them.

“As non-working members of the Royal Family they are under no obligation to inform the Royal Household of such plans.”
