Prince Harry has an AWKWARD meeting with ex-girlfriend AND wife Meghan Markle
Prince Harry had an “awkward” meeting with one of his ex-girlfriends while on holiday with Meghan Markle in Amsterdam, a royal source has revealed.
The Duke of Sussex allegedly bumped into rumoured ex Jenna Coleman during a weekend trip to the Netherlands for the opening of the new Soho House, in what has been described as a “pretty awkward” exchange.
The pair, who were linked in 2015, were reportedly reunited during breakfast at the private members’ club event, which hosted a number of celebrities including Eddie Redmayne and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.
Harry is claimed to have ignored actress Ms Coleman – who stars in the hit ITV royal drama Victoria – and looked “uncomfortable” as he ate breakfast with new wife Meghan.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, the source said: “Harry had to walk straight past Jenna to get to his and Meghan’s table.
“It was pretty awkward and some of the other guests were commenting on it.
“Jenna looked down while Harry looked straight ahead, while Meghan didn’t seem to notice.
“She sat through breakfast with a smile on her face, but Harry looked a bit uncomfortable.
“He’d been super friendly saying hi to everyone, but he didn’t even acknowledge Jenna.”
Ms Coleman attended the breakfast with her partner Tom Hughes, who she is said to have chosen over Prince Harry.
A friend of Ms Coleman said: “She had texts and date requests coming in from both of them. She ended up going for Tom over Harry.
“I guess she knew she had more in common with a fellow actor. Tom was really into Jenna and they hit it off.”
Meghan was likely unfazed by the incident after already meeting a number of Harry’s previous girlfriends.
Chelsy Davy – who Harry dated between 2004 and 2010 – attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May.
And Cressida Bonas, who had a romance with the Prince from 2012 to 2014 after being introduced by Princess Eugenie, also had an invite to Harry and Meghan’s big day.
Harry has previously been linked to a number of celebrities including singer Ellie Goulding, TV presenter Caroline Flack and Molly King from The Saturdays.
The Prince married Meghan this year after the pair met through a mutual friend in July 2016.
