A Royal expert believes that Prince Harry may come under pressure from his publishers to name the royal ‘racist’ in his upcoming memoir.

During their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, Meghan and Harry alleged a member of the Royal Family raised “concerns” about Archie’s skin colour. They declined to to say who raised the concerns, with Meghan saying that would be “very damaging to them”.

However, journalist and author Penny Junor fears that Harry may be pressured into revealing the identity of of the royal member by his publishers.

She told The Sun: “The publishers are going to want a lot for their money, such as naming this so-called racist.”

The Duke of Sussex signed a huge book deal with Pengiun Random House, with proceeds going to charity.

In a statement, he said: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned.

“I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

Ms Junor also thinks that the book could open old family wounds and inflame tensions with his father, Prince Charles.

“He’s researching his mother’s life so he’s going to be talking about his parents’ marriage, the break up, the affairs,” she explained.

“That could be incredibly damaging for his father and Camilla. Charles is going to be king and Camilla his queen.

“The last thing they or the country needs is another upsurge of anger based on what I believe to be false, false accusations.”

The book, covering his life from childhood to the present day, is set for release in late 2022.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their roles as senior royals in January last year.

Harry previously served in the British Army for a decade, but was stripped of his honorary military roles post-Megxit.
