Prince Harry’s bestseller memoir, Spare, has become once again the butt of the joke as an upcoming parody book titled Spare Us! is set to make fun of it.
Question Time panellist claims Harry will be damaged by ‘Spare’
This version of Spare has been written by Bruno Vincent, who previously gained the spotlight with his Enid Blyton parody books.
Published by Little Brown, which is owned by Hachette, Spare Us! will be aptly released on April Fool’s Day.
A press release promoting Spare Us! read: “He was born into an ancient, powerful dynasty and, through no fault of his own, became one of the most recognisable men on the planet. His life was a constant barrage of press intrusion and manipulation.

Prince Harry opens up to William on staff member’s plot to ‘sabotage’ Meghan Markle
Prince Harry revealed a private conversation he shared with his brother, the Prince of Wales, in which he warned Prince William about a “plot” against the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
The tense exchange came as Harry and Meghan were on the brink of leaving the Royal Family to move to the US.
“Until, finally, he demanded that it stop. In order to get the privacy he so craved, he has written a frostbite-and-all book that goes deep inside the castle walls and exposes every shouting match, fist-fight, betrayal, teddy bear, awkward hug and tear-stained wedding rehearsal for the world to feast their eyes on. All for privacy! This is his story.”
The front cover of the book also reminds the one of Spare, as it shows a close-up portrait of Prince Harry.
Unlike the picture used for the real Spare, who was taken by Ramona Rosales, the Prince Harry on Spare Us! has two pieces of tape placed on his mouth to keep it closed.
A few weeks before Spare Us! was announced, a mock version of Spare was also included in an episode of South Park released in February, which heavily made fun of the “Prince of Canada and his wife” – who bore a stark resemblance with the Sussexes.

Spare included excruciating revelations, including how Harry avoided for years to deal with the loss of Princess Diana as well as how his relationship with Prince William started showing cracks years before he met the Duchess of Sussex.
However, some other details that found their way to the book’s pages have been largely made fun of in the US.
Among them is the recollection of how Harry got frostbite on his penis during a 2011 charity trek across the North Pole, which left him in pain for a long period, including during the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

While introducing British comedian James Corden at the Grammys, he said: “James Corden is a 12-time Emmy winner and the host of The Late Late Show.
“He’s also living proof that a man can move from London to LA and not tell everyone about his frost-bitten penis.”
Late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel brutally mocked Harry’s frostbite episode during his programme, when he read out a mock book titled “The Prince and the Penis”.
