Prince George to grow up jealous of cousin Archie Harrison due to ‘unfair’ royal burden

PRINCE GEORGE could grow up jealous of his cousin Archie Harrison due to the Royal Family burden the young prince will be under as a direct heir to the throne, the CEO of Republic has claimed.

Mr Smith said: “I don’t know if Prince George is going to want to be King or sit on the throne.

“He is going to grow up seeing his cousins having a good time in California and probably wonder why he cannot have a bit of that.

“Rather than being expected to sit in churches on a Sunday morning and go into the army and so on.

“The whole rigmarole around the heir to the throne and the expectations put on them is nonsense and unfair.”

Prince George is currently 3rd in line to the throne.

Prince Charles and Prince William are ahead of the young prince in the Royal Family’s line of succession.

Archie Harrison is 7th in line to the throne, behind his father Prince Harry as well as Prince George’s siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Archie Harrison was not given the title of Prince by the Royal Family when he was born.

Meghan Markle insisted that the decision to not give Archie the title of Prince came from the Royal Family rather than herself and Prince Harry during the couple’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Duchess of Sussex expressed her disappointment at the decision, stating she felt the title was Archie’s “birthright”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their second child later this year.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s second child will be 8th in line to the throne.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals less than a year after Archie Harrison was born.

It was been almost exactly a year since the couple left the Royal Family at the end of March 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California following their exit from the monarchy after a brief spell in Canada.

Since leaving the Royal Family the couple has signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.
