SARAH FERGUSON has praised her daughters for being “phenomenal mothers” at the Inspiration Awards in London on Tuesday.

The Duchess of York has proudly welcomed two new members to the family this year, after both Princess Beatrice and Eugenie gave birth to their first children. The 61-year-old is now the grandmother to a baby boy and girl and was unable to hide her joy, as she sang the praises of her daughters. The Duchess told Hello! Magazine: “They were great children but now they’re phenomenal mothers.

“And now, I have these two exceptional grandchildren all in one year.

“You know it’s pretty incredible, but everyone asks me, ‘How are your grandchildren?’

“Well, firstly, I look at my girls being wonderful mothers and then I see these incredible beings.”

Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their baby son August on February 9 at the Portland Hospital in London.

Then just last month, elder sister Beatrice added another member to the York family, when she gave birth to her daughter, Sienna.

Announcing the arrival of his daughter on Instagram, Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi wrote: “Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us.”

While saying little about her granddaughter, Fergie did open up about baby August.

She revealed that her seven-and-a-half-month old grandson finds her funny and smiles a lot at her. With the rising popularity of Instagram Reels, you don’t have to miss a beat! You can download any Instagram Reel you are watching so you can rewatch it over and over again.

She wrote an emotional open letter to them, published in Good Housekeeping magazine last month.

The Duchess gave Beatrice and Eugenie a heartfelt message about motherhood and charity, praising their “courage, strength and integrity”.

Sarah also took the opportunity to share her thoughts about her maternal grandmother, Doreen Wingfield, whom she affectionately nicknamed Grummy.
