There is said to be concern over the contents of the book, with some suggesting it will contain damaging revelations about the Royal Family.

According to publisher, Penguin, Harry’s memoir will “share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses and life lessons that have helped shape him”.

Announcing the book, the Duke of Sussex said: “I’m writing this not as the Prince I was born but as the man I have become.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

‘The lines are blurred!’ King Charles III is exempt from more than 160 British laws

Although Royal Family members are required to follow rules and pieces of royal protocol, they also enjoy a number of exemptions from laws that apply to the rest of the British public.

Norman Baker, author and former Lib Dem MP, said the “more opaque” laws protecting the monarch’s personal and private interests, which include the 40,000 acres of the Duchy of Lancaster estate, inherited by King Charles, are the most “concerning”.

He said the monarch’s consent is required for “any proposed law that would affect the Duchy” and other private assets.

Mr Baker claimed that the Royal Family “like to blur the line between what is public and what is private depending on what is most advantageous to them”, but he argued the Firm exercises as a public function with public funds.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry burst into dance and Lilibet’s reaction is so cute

New York Times journalist Allison P. Davis was given a rare opportunity to observe how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in their LA pad with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Speaking about what she saw, she said: “Lilibet, unsmiling with watchful bright-blue eyes, is brought out by her nanny. She is small and also ginger, and when there is a small person in the room not smiling, it is a reflex to do anything to entertain them.”

“Harry starts dancing to his own beatboxing, and Meghan bends down and joins in and then I find myself doing it too, until she gives a lopsided smile and we all realise it’s a bit strange to be bonding in this way.”
