‘Never say never’ Kate refuses to rule out FOURTH royal baby

KATE, Duchess of Cambridge is happy with her three children, but is not ruling out having another baby, according to royal insiders – who have downplayed any suggestions of rivalry between her and sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

And at the end of a year which has seen two royal weddings and the announcement of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy, royal biographer Robert Jobson said Kate, who gave birth to Prince Louis in April, was increasingly seen as a “safe pair of hands”, having been a member of the Royal family for seven years. Grazia reported Kate, 36, as having told “royal insiders” she feels “complete” with Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and six-month-old Louis. However, she has also told friends curious about the possibility of more children it was a case of “never say never” – although she and William have no plans to add to their family for the time being.

A royal source said the couple, who live at Kensington Palace, take it in turns to do the school run, scheduling work diaries around home commit ments, and have one nanny, Spanish-born Maria Borrallo, as well as extra help as required.

The source added: “Kate always tries to be home for tea, bath time and the kids’ bed time routines. That’s really important to her.

“The children are her priority – they always have been and they always will be.”

A school mother said both George and Charlotte enjoy school, adding: “Kate often chats to the other mums, but actually William does more.

“He goes to the Harbour Club in Chelsea to work out after the school run some times, and he catches up with some of the other mums there.

“I’ve seen him joking with them while indulging in a post-work out cookie.’

Royal biographer Mr Jobson said Kate had been “a little slow in her learning” of the royal ropes.

However, he added: “She had eight or nine years to learn the ropes, and the way she presents her self and the way she operates now means the family are happy to let her get on with it.

“She has never put a foot wrong.”

Mr Jobson said far from seeing Meghan as a rival, Kate actually welcomed her arrival, and had played an important role in integrating her into the Royal Family.

He also suggested Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry, and the associated blaze of publicity, has probably taken some pressure off the Duchess of Cambridge.

He explained: “I think she prob a bly finds it a bit of a relief.”

Nevertheless, a recent YouGov suggested Kate retains the edge over Meghan when it comes to popularity, coming in fourth compared with Meghan, who was ranked sixth.

The survey also indicated Kate remains the most influential royal in terms of fashion, with Meghan in second place.

Mr Jobson added: “She and William are now the top duo.

“They know they have nothing to prove.”
