Mike Tindall breaks silence on Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ ‘fantastic’ wedding day
Mike Tindall has broken his silence ahead of Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews on Saturday, with him saying that he thinks the couple will have a “fantastic time”.

The 38-year-old former rugby player – who married Zara Phillips in June 2011 – spoke out about the special day on Good Morning Britain, with him admitting that “he doesn’t know exactly what will happen, but that he’s sure they’ll have a good day”.
After being asked to compare attempting to keep his own wedding day private like Pippa and James, Mike gushed: “We’re not far away from six years I think.
“They will have a fantastic time. I don’t know the full ins and outs of their wedding but I’m sure they’ll have a good time and a fun day.
“I’m sure they’ll love you guys are trying to peer in. You’re just basically peering over a wall aren’t you but I’m sure they’ll still have a great day.”
At least 100 of the couple’s nearest and dearest, including the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, will descend on the village church for the ceremony.
A further 200 people are expected to join them later for the evening reception in the grounds of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury.
With no expense spared, Ms Middleton and Mr Matthews have hired a huge glass marquee to host their wedding breakfast and evening festivities.
The marquee has been shipped from Belgium and is estimated to have set the couple back around £100,000.

Although the Middletons have vehemently maintained that the wedding is a private family event, the eyes of the world will be upon it.
Prince Harry is expected to attend with his girlfriend, American actress Meghan Markle, who landed in London on Tuesday.
