The image showed Mia and Philip eating as they sat together on a bench in front of a wood cabin.
Philip’s pint of beer could also be seen perched on a ledge behind him.
Mike, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter and Philip’s granddaughter Zara, posted the snap a day before 30 members of the Royal Family are set to gather for the Duke’s funeral at Windsor Castle.
The entire funeral will be televised tomorrow after it begins at 3pm.

There will be no public element to the funeral as it will take place entirely in the grounds of the castle due to the Covid pandemic.
There were originally plans for military processions to take place through London or Windsor.
But these have now been dropped, with members of the public also being asked not to gather at the castle or other royal residences.
Guests will include all Philip’s children and grandchildren plus their spouses, the children of the Queen’s sister Princess Margaret, and three of Philip’s German relatives: Bernhard, Hereditary Prince of Baden; Prince Donatus, Landgrave of Hesse; and Prince Philipp of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.
Mike said he will “forever miss” Prince Philip
Also invited is a close friend of Philip’s, the Countess Mountbatten of Burma, Penelope “Penny” Knatchbull, who was previously the duke’s carriage driving partner.
No members of the Royal Family will be in military uniform.
The men will wear morning coats with their medals while the women will appear in day dresses.
Another funeral detail will include a specially modified Land Rover hearse, which Philip helped to design over a 16 year period.
Mike’s eldest daughter Mia was pictured with the Duke in a tribute
He asked for it to be repainted in military green and also helped to design the open-top back part of the car.
Members of the Royal Family have also been paying tribute to the Duke all week after he died peacefully at the age of 99 last Friday.
Earlier today, Prince Edward was pictured with his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, and their daughter Lady Louise Windsor as they viewed flowers and cards left in memory of Philip at Windsor Castle.
While looking over handwritten letters from children, Sophie was heard saying “how sweet” before speaking to her husband Edward about the number of bouquets left there.
She was also believed to suggest there would have been many more tributes if Covid restrictions had not been in place.
It comes as Zara gave birth to her third child, who is also the Queen and Philip’s 10th great-grandchild, less than four weeks ago.
She named her son Lucas Philip, with his middle name in honour of both the duke and Mike’s father.
Mike recently revealed how baby Lucas was born on the bathroom floor at home when there was not enough time for Zara to get to hospital.
