Meghan Markle’s family want ‘Middleton treatment
Meghan Markle’s family are continuing to air their personal gripes in the public arena, this time revealing they’re disappointed at not being welcomed into the royal fold in the same way the Middletons were.
Thomas Markle Jr. – the Duchess of Sussex’s older half brother – has spoken out about how disappointed he is not to have been included by the Windsors, including not being invited to Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in May.
“They have [brought outsiders in] before in the past like with the Middletons. I don’t see why our family is any different,” he told the New York Post.

He then went on to point out that members of Kate Middleton’s non-royal family, such as her uncle, Gary Goldsmith, scored an invite to her nuptials with to Prince William in 2001, despite Gary being accused of offering cocaine and prostitutes to a reporter in a sting before they walked down the aisle.
Then last year, Gary was arrested for allegedly punching his fourth wife after she accused him of using cocaine; he later pleaded guilty to assault.
“I think Uncle Gary and I would get along just fine,” Thomas Jr, who was arrested himself before Meghan’s wedding, went on. “It would have been nice to at least get an invite to the wedding like he was.”
The siblings’ dad, Thomas Markle Sr., has also been vocal about the fact he feels “cut out” of his daughter’s life since she became engaged to Harry last year, claiming that when she starred in Suits there was always contact.

“Why they did it this way, that’s the big question: Why?” His son questioned. “They could have looked after my dad and he would have been happy.”
It’s believed the 37-year-old duchess hasn’t spoken to her dad since she tied the knot after he was involved in selling staged photos to the media.
Since then, he has gone of a rampage of words, likening the royal family to a cult and claiming Princess Diana would be angered by what is happening.
“They are either like Scientologists or the Stepford family,” Thomas Sr. told The Sun at the weekend. “If they hear anybody say anything they just lock the doors. They need to speak up! They are cult-like — like Scientology — because they are secretive.”
Meghan hasn’t commented on the situation, but it’s thought the Palace is in a frenzy over it all.
