Meghan Markle to get Harry to ‘do a lot of the groundwork’ to launch political career

PRINCE Harry could be instrumental in the launch of Meghan Markle’s political career, according to a royal correspondent.

Meghan Markle’s move into politics has been long anticipated but made headlines once again when she met with the Democratic governor of California in what was labelled an “introductory” meeting. As a working member of the Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex would be expected to be politically neutral, as influence over the British people is something that the monarchy has always tried to steer clear of.  But following her departure as a working royal, Meghan now has free reign to explore other career options, and according to sources, politics has always been on the cards.

Royal correspondent for NBC News Neil Sean said he believes that Harry would be integral to the launch of Meghan’s political move.

He said that: “This is a woman who only got 200 people to download that very woke poem, which was attached of course to her 40×40 incentive when she allegedly had a 40th birthday, and you do think to yourself, if you cant get that.”

“Whether you liked President Trump or not, he was popular, he did get the votes.

“When she had the opportunity to meet with him in London, she passed on that and lumped it to Prince Harry. So the only way that she could try and get some popularity moving into politics, would be to get him to do a lot of the groundwork.”

“And possibly he will do, he is still liked in certain areas, but this of course is coming from a woman that wanted to remain private and choose a different life.”

Meghan’s complicated relationship with Donald Trump started in 2016 when during a TV interview with Larry Wilmore, she labelled Trump “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

She also talked about her support for Hilary Clinton, and said that she supported her not least because “Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting.”

Years later, Trump was asked how he felt about the comments made by the Duchess, he remarked that he wasn’t aware of the comments and that he didn’t know that she, “was nasty.”
