CONCERNS were raised about how quickly Meghan got pregnant after joining the Royal Family and the way the news was announced, it has been claimed.
Meghan fell pregnant three months after her marriage to Prince Harry.
Although the pregnancy was officially announced on October 15, 2018, the book claims Meghan told the Royals she was expecting at the wedding of Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.
It claims the announcement was reported to have made Prince Harry “embarrassed”.
Howard and Tillett said in the book: “Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child.

“This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a Royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah.”
However, this claim is disputed by other sources while Kensington Palace said in a statement on the day of the birth that the senior royals “were delighted” by the news.
The book also claims Meghan’s choice of fashion sense during her pregnancy raised eyebrows from royal officials.

“In the early days of the pregnancy, insiders said that Meghan had earned a stern telling-off.”
For Harry and Meghan the pregnancy was celebrated with both speaking out on being eager to become parents.
In a 2016 interview, the Duchess of Sussex said that becoming a mother was on her “bucket list”.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry said in their engagement interview a year later: “You know, I think one step at a time, and hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.”

Baby Archie was born in London’s Portland Hospital on May 6, 2019. Photos of the baby were released by the couple days after his birth.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have enjoyed time away from the spotlight since they left the UK with Baby Archie.
The Sussexes now live in Los Angeles after living for a brief period in Canada.

Kensington Palace declined to comment on the book.
