MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry are still on a sabbatical from their royal duties at the end of 2019, after they took weeks off following a royal tour of Africa. When are Meghan and Harry coming back to the UK?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took a sabbatical earlier this year to focus on spending time with their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. They have since travelled to the US and Canada, where they spent Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
Prince Harry and Meghan are currently in Canada, where they spent Christmas away from the Royal Family.
The couple has been spotted jogging and relaxing together on Vancouver Island, off the country’s west coast.
Bev Koffel, a local resident of the island, told Marie Claire she saw the couple with their bodyguards, and others have seen them enjoying a break at the local park.

She said: ”Horth Hill’s become a very popular place now. And they jog around, so they’ve been seen.
“It’s kind of exciting. I hope everything goes fine for them.
“They’re breaking away from tradition and I just wish them all the best.”
Buckingham Palace confirmed the couple was “enjoying sharing the warmth of the Canadian people and the beauty of the landscape”.

While they are seemingly content in Canada, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due back soon, in 2020.
The couple took a six-week break from the royal duties, meaning they will likely return to work in January, although this is not confirmed.
They faced calls to return home earlier this month when Prince Philip briefly spent time in hospital.
One Source told The Sun there was a feeling they had been “inconsiderate and selfish”.

They said: “They are absolutely entitled to a proper break and privacy, but they’ve had six weeks off.
“What about some lovely family photos and memories with baby Archie?
“Many of the family were very keen to see him over Christmas but were told they couldn’t as they were abroad.
“There is a feeling they are being inconsiderate and selfish, given the Queen and Philip’s advancing age.”
Despite calls for them to return, it seems increasingly likely Meghan and Harry may choose to live abroad.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said the couple was “presumably considering what future they would like as royals and how and where they will spend it” during their time off.
Since an ITV documentary revealed the couple was struggling with royal life, people have speculated they may move to California, Meghan Markle’s home state.
Harry and Meghan are said to have several projects in the pipeline across the Atlantic, as the Duke of Sussex is working on a documentary with Oprah Winfrey, and Meghan is said to be working on establishing a US base for their charitable foundation Sussex Royal.
