Meghan Markle given strict order on what NOT to do at Christmas or risk upsetting Queen
PRINCE Harry has warned his actress wife Meghan not to make a drama out of her first Christmas as a fully-fledged royal – by beating the Queen at charades.
The former Suits star has been advised to play down her skills as she joins in the royal fun and games over the festive season. Aides revealed the Queen likes to give her own royal command performance on Christmas night, when she reels off her impersonations of world leaders, VIPs and stars she’s met during her travels. Harry is desperate to make Christmas at Sandringham, his grandmother’s Norfolk estate, perfect and has a guide of do’s and don’ts to ease Meghan into the sometimes bizarre traditions.
Harry, who arrives in Zambia tomorrow for a two-day solo official visit, has made sure that when Meghan and her mother Doria Ragland arrive, they will know how to navigate a Christmas with the royals.
One aide explained: “It can be very confusing.
“The jokes and presents are very cheesy, the life is grand, the protocol is unbending and it terrifies the life out of incomers.
“They don’t like show-offs, especially newcomers who show off.
“The duchess has to resist that American urge to win at everything. The whole family likes to play charades on Christmas night and she must never beat the Queen, who is a fine actress herself.”
Harry has also cautioned Meghan not to speak out against the Royal Family’s traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot.
