MEGHAN Markle’s father has revealed his plans to write a tell-all book about his estranged daughter.
Thomas Markle said he would pen a book about happier times with the Duchess of Sussex as he complained of his treatment by Meghan. The 74-year-old has not spoken to his daughter since she married Prince Harry in May 2018.
Mr Markle said the book would be “about the good years with my daughter and my fond memories of her growing up”.
And the retired lighting director, who lives in Mexico, described his heartbreak at being shunned by Meghan.
Speaking to The Sun, Mr Markle said: “This whole thing should have been one of the proudest moments of my life.
“Now it’s like a dream that has turned into a nightmare. The royals and Meghan can help end this nightmare by simply giving me a call. To this day, I cannot think of anything I’ve done to deserve how I’m being treated now.
“I’ve been a good father I’ve done nothing wrong. Axe murderers kill 19 people and their daughters still come and visit them in prison.
“It’s just incomprehensible for Meghan to treat me this way.”
It comes after Samantha Markle promised to release an explosive book about her half-sister Meghan – called In the Shadows of The Duchess – in April or May.
Ms Markle told the Daily Star she would “hold nothing back” in the book.
She said: “The book covers everything that goes on behind the scenes that the world does not know and trust me there is a lot.”
Meghan has been embroiled in a very family public row with the Markles since her royal wedding.
Mr Markle was due to walk his daughter down the aisle but he was forced to pull out at the last minute due to health reasons.
It also emerged shortly before the wedding that Mr Markle had staged paparazzi pictures showing him being measured for a suit, exercising and reading a book about the UK.
Meghan released a statement ahead of the big day confirming Mr Markle would not be attending.
And according to Mr Markle, he has not spoken to his daughter since her Windsor wedding.
The 74-year-old has publicly appealed to his daughter to get back in touch in a string of interviews.
