MEGHAN Markle is almost in the third trimester of her pregnancy, and her bump has certainly popped in recent weeks.
We’ve seen a lot of Meghan Markle lately. From solo outings for her new charity patronages to date nights with Prince Harry, Meghan has certainly shared the joy of her pregnancy with the public. So here’s a look at the Duchess’s pregnancy, and effortless maternity style, so far.
The Duchess of Sussex, 37, let slip at one recent event that she was just about six months pregnant, and due in late April or early May.
And with a serious bump already on display, she’s certain to be feeling “very pregnant,” as she told one well-wisher.
Not that you’d know it – Meghan is perfectly turned out at every occasion, even managing staggering high heels.
And she’s retained a sense of humour too, laughing it off when one well-meaning pensioner called her a “fat lady”!
Mothers and expectant mothers around the world will no doubt feel a twinge of jealousy at the Duchess’s seemingly effortless pregnancy.
Her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, for one.
Kate struggled with a severe form of morning sickness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum with all three of her pregnancies.
When she was pregnant with her first son, Prince George, now five, the condition was so severe she had to be hospitalised.
Due to her battles with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, Kate was, understandably, seldom seen out in public while pregnant.
But Meghan certainly doesn’t have this problem.
If anything, she has increased her workload, announcing four new patronages already this year.
Two of these were poised on from the Queen – The National Theatre and The Association of Commonwealth Universities.
The other two Meghan chose herself, and both are close to her heart.
With regards to supporting women, Smart Works helps long-term unemployed and vulnerable women regain the skills, confidence and tools to succeed at job interviews, return to employment and transform their lives.
And in terms of animal welfare, Mayhew is a grassroots charity working in a unique way to improve the lives of animals and people to better communities both in London and internationally.
And in a few months time, we’ll have a new little Royal keeping the Duchess even busier.
