Meghan makes dress mishap looks like a fashion statement
Meghan Markle celebrated her 37th birthday – and her first as an official royal – by mingling with the high society guests at Prince Harry’s good friend Charlie Van Straubenzee’s country wedding on Saturday.

Dressing to impress for the occasion, the Duchess of Sussex pulled out a AU$450 frock with a V-shaped neckline and a pleated, multi-coloured skirt.
As we’ve come to expect from the former actress, the design had a loose fit and a midi-length hem, and Meghan paired it with a Philip Treacy fascinator and black sling backs.

Proving she can handle any fashion scenario with grace, at one point Meghan’s top button was undone – which would be the normal look for many of us, but probably a little too open for a royal at church – and she made the mishap look like a fashion statement in its own right.
Harry meanwhile, was performing best man duties for his old school friend and dressed in a full morning suit complete with pin-striped trousers and a vest.

Walking over to the church hand in hand with Meghan, he looked as besotted as ever.
Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie was also in attendance on the day, and arrived in a pale blue frock alongside her husband-to-be Jack Brooksbank.

Charlie Van Straubenzee, 30, who has been in Harry’s inner circle since they met at preparatory school, married 27-year-old videographer Daisy Jenks at Saint Mary The Virgin Church.

Chalrie and his brother Thomas were both ushers at Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and Eugenie and Jack will be next to walk down the aisle in October.
