A royal expert warned the Sussexes that they need to pick a side, as the couple are making profits from projects damaging the Royal Family whilst taking part in royal events.
He praised the author for “going behind the scenes of what’s really happening with Harry and Meghan”
Mr Owen said: “Some of the stories he tells, we kind of knew most of the details, but what it does emphasise to me is just how sad and bitter these splits really are.
“And the thing you take away from it all the time is that it seems to me that Harry – or shall we say, Meghan – has got to choose up.”

Meghan ‘wanted to be rejected’ by Royal Family ‘from day one’
Meghan claimed royal staff refused to help her “in her hour of greatest need” – but they don’t remember it this way. In fact, some saw Meghan’s refusal of help as a “deliberate strategy”.
“It can’t go on like this,” he told GB News.
Referring to the Sussexes’ respective projects, Mr Owen said: “You can’t be both in the Royal Family and then decide as a commercial animal and you’re going to do what you want and then go back to the stage.
“Some talk of Meghan wanting to be the Beyonce of the UK – now that might be flowering things up a bit.
“But you can’t do that. Sorry, Meghan, that’s not on.”

An extract of the book, due to be published in early October, alleges that Meghan repeatedly left staff in tears and shaking with fear because of her angry tirades.
Meghan Markle fiercely rebuked the allegations as she claimed the accusations are part of “a calculated smear campaign.”
Friends of the Duchess of Sussex repeatedly spoke out in defence of Meghan Markle saying she had suffered “lies”, “untruths” and “global bullying”.

Among other attacks levelled at Meghan in the book is the allegation she threatened to break up with Prince Harry if he did not announce publicly she was his girlfriend.
The book reads: “Faced with hordes of journalists intent on trawling through every aspect of Meghan’s life, Harry became determined to protect his girlfriend.
“Meghan, meanwhile, told him that if he did not do something about it, she would break off the relationship.”
Valentine Low’s book will be published on October 6.
